More Prizes, More Trails, More People, More Fun!!!

Get ready for some of Ontario's Best 4 wheeling and the BIGGEST 4WD event of the year!

Be a part of the 6th Annual Northern Lights Charity Trailfest! Ontario has vast areas of beautiful wooded wilderness dotted with thousands of clean, clear freshwater lakes. 1.5 hours Northeast of Toronto, and about 3.5 hours from the Rainbow Bridge, the town of Minden in the Haliburton Highlands is central to many spectacular trails ranging from Mild to Wild!

Whether you're an experienced "wheeler" or looking for your first off-road adventure, you don't want to miss this event. Rocks, mud, water crossings, hillclimbs, breathtaking scenery and twisty wooded trails, it's all here to enjoy. This is a family event so kids and pets are welcome (on a leash of course).

Event Costs

Space is limited so book early! Pricing same as last year at $125cdn/$109us per adult, $65cdn/$57us for children ages 6-12 (ID may be required, please bring to the event) and as usual children 5 & under are free. You registration includes event vehicle decal, 4 great meals and all event activities. Late registration after Aug 1st, if available (and extremely unlikely), is $30cdn/us extra per person. Make plans! Reserve your spot and accomodations now!

Trail Rides

Approximately 10 different trails ranging from level 1 to level 4+ will be offered each of the 3 days. All trails will be led by experienced trail leaders from various member clubs of the Ontario Federation of 4WD Recreationists. You’ll select your skill level and sign-up for your trail rides when checking-in for the event at South Lake Park and on each subsequent day.

Never taken your 4WD Off-Road?

Not to worry! Northern Lights offers an instructional course on the first day (Friday) of the event. It's a combination of theory and practical instruction by some of our most expert guides. Following a review of basic 4-wheeling principles, our guides will take you out for an awesome trail ride to put into practice what you have learned. With your new found knowledge, you are free to experience some of the other trails available for the duration of the event. Each year many first-timers come to CampNL to get their feet wet and learn about responsible 4WD-based recreation. The instructional course is offered at no additional change just check the "CampNL101" checkbox when you register.
